“Towards Golden Cap”

Taken from the sandstone cliffs to the east of West Bay, this photograph shows the old piers and the curve of Lyme Bay with Golden Cap in the distance.

Once a bustling port for Bridport (Port Bredy), famous for its rope making and home of the 'Bridport Dagger', better known as Hangman's Rope.
